As in 2023, the symposium organised by the partnership AGES - Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety with the Inter-University Cooperation Centre Water and Health (ICC W&H) is once again under the patronage of the ÖGHMP.
On 5 June 2025, we will be devoting ourselves entirely to the topic of Water Quality & One Health.
Increasingly frequent droughts and flooding caused by the climate crisis can pose a challenge to water quality and thus to the health of humans, animals and plants, as can pathogens and pollutants.
In order to overcome these challenges, the development of innovative concepts, new physico-chemical, microbiological and molecular biological methods as well as numerical models for the investigation and assessment of water quality from a hygienic point of view is required.
